Each row is the estimated cost of a typical transaction's gas on that chain, right now, pulled live from LI.FI and priced in USD. Lower is cheaper. It moves constantly — especially on Ethereum — so refresh before you decide.
The short version
- Layer 2s (Base, Arbitrum, Optimism) and Polygon are almost always cents or fractions of a cent.
- Solana is fractions of a cent by design.
- Ethereum mainnet is usually the priciest and the most volatile — a swap can jump from a dollar to well over $20 when blocks fill.

Why is Ethereum gas so much higher than the others?
Ethereum is a layer 1 that processes every transaction directly, so block space is scarce and priced by demand. Layer 2s batch many transactions and settle to Ethereum in bulk, which is why they're cents instead of dollars.
How is 'typical gas' calculated?
